Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to ObfGuard, billing, acceptable use, and limitations of liability.

Effective date and scope

Effective date: January 30, 2026. These Terms apply to all use of the ObfGuard website, documentation, and software services.

By accessing or using ObfGuard, you agree to these Terms. If you are using ObfGuard for a client or employer, you represent that you have permission to do so.

Account access and responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials, tokens, or configuration files used to access ObfGuard. You must provide accurate contact information and keep it current.

You agree not to share access with unauthorized users, bypass technical restrictions, or attempt to access systems or data not intended for you.

Billing and scope

Plans are priced per project and billed at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, there is no automatic renewal.

Taxes may apply based on your billing location. You authorize ObfGuard or its payment processor to charge your payment method for the project fee and applicable taxes.

Refunds and cancellations follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly.

Acceptable use and restrictions

ObfGuard is a defensive security tool. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy.

  • No malicious use, malware distribution, or unauthorized access.
  • No reverse engineering of ObfGuard beyond what is permitted by law.
  • No attempts to disrupt service availability or integrity.

Intellectual property

ObfGuard and its documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, branding, and software.

You retain ownership of your apps and data. You grant ObfGuard a limited license to process configuration and build artifacts solely to provide the service.

Confidentiality and security

Each party agrees to protect the other party's confidential information with reasonable care. You should not upload sensitive materials unless necessary for support.

ObfGuard uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect service data. No system is perfectly secure; you agree to use best knowing practices.

Third-party services

Payments are processed by third-party providers. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

ObfGuard may link to external resources. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

Disclaimers

ObfGuard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Security is risk reduction, not a guarantee. No protection makes reverse engineering impossible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ObfGuard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may request cancellation before work begins, subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Access may be suspended if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Upon termination, access ends after delivery of the agreed scope, unless a shorter suspension is required to prevent harm or comply with law.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
